Born on October 3rd, 1999, in Princeton NJ.

Emily Li is a singer-songwriter who is primarily based in New Haven, CT. Emily took a gap year between her Freshman and Sophomore year of high school in 2015 to pursue a music career in China. She finished her year with a 3rd place award as the youngest contestant in Chinese Idol, a singing competition live broadcasted during prime-time national television on Sundays at 7 PM. Her Weibo (Chinese Twitter) has a total of 16.4K Followers and her Youku videos (Chinese Youtube) has an average of 600K views.


Emily signed with DragonTV, SMG in December of 2014. This contract lead to her role in Dancing with the Stars of China and Exploration of the World. Dancing with the Stars of China was live broadcasted on DragonTV December 2014 to February 2015. The show replaced Chinese Idol during the primetime spot on Sundays at 7 PM. Exploration of the World was broadcasted from February 2015 to June 2015 on JiangSuTV. The reality show lead a cast of five through 12 different countries, including Cuba, Canada, Dubai, Spain, Korea, Australia and many more. After a series of episodes from various different reality shows, Emily ended her contract with DragonTV to pursue music.

In August 2015, Emily performed in her own solo concert in Hangzhou China. She performed a total of 18 songs for her friends, family, and fans. The concert was sponsored by the Zhejiang Association of Pop Music.

Emily is currently a First Year at Yale University. She spends her time filming cover videos and writing new music.
